Services and Events

Sunday Services

As we return more and more to in person worship services, we’ll be at St. Oswald’s at 9:30 and All Saints at 11:15 each Sunday morning.

The 9:30 am Sunday services are live streamed for you to follow at home if you’re still not sure about coming out in person yet, Feel free to join us live at the time, or at any point through the week!

We also have a once a month ‘Sunday Special’ service, where both churches meet together, alternating between our two buildings, to celebrate God’s goodness in lively, family friendly setting – will you come a long and give it a go? The next one will be Sunday 7th January in All Saints.

MIdweek Prayer and Communion:

We open All Saints each Wednesday morning at 10:30 for half an hour’s quiet, reflective prayer, followed by a simple commmunion service at 11am, it’s a lovely way to notice God in our lives in the middle of the week.

For anyone you may know who doesn’t find the internet easy, did you know that the Church of England have created a helpline called Daily Hope? This is aimed at those who do not have access to the internet and all the online resources. Using a freephone number (0800 8048044), it offers a hymn, reading and prayer.

The Church of England have also prepared a really valuable set of reflections for promoting mental health and wellbeing at this time, why not take a look?

Pop up Pantry

Thanks to our Friends at InnChurches  it’s great to be able to offer low cost food to anyone from the community who might be able to make use of it, as well as an opportunity for a cup of tea and a chat. We open the pantry at All Saints each Thursday at 12:30, and ask £3 for a bag of shopping. In order to make what we have go round everyone who might like some, we do ask that customers only take one of any particular item. The range of what we have varies week by week, but there’s always a selection of fresh and store cupboard food to keep you going!

Lent Course 2024

It might feel a bit early to be thinking about the lent course already, but as we want to do a course which doesn’t quite fit into the 6 weeks of Lent, we’re going to be starting a bit early this year. The Bible society’s Bible Course is a fascinating walk through the whole story of the Bible in 8 weekly sessions, which we’ll be starting on Wednesday 31st January. Why not come along and find out more?
